I grow ecommerce businesses — and build the systems that make them work.
I’ve grown multichannel sales, built Shopify stores and led the systems and operations behind them. Today I lead UK and US marketplace trading, combining commercial judgement with hands-on delivery.
Four steps I use across ecommerce, systems and side projects.
01
Understand the problem
Watch the work. Talk to users. Find the real friction.
02
Design the solution
Map the journey and build for the business need.
03
Bring people along
Involve the team early; adoption starts before launch.
04
Make change happen
Ship, support, measure and keep improving.
03 / EXPERIENCE
COMMERCIAL RESULTS. PRACTICAL CHANGE.
From growing a £3m+ consumer business and building ecommerce websites to leading marketplace expansion, integrations and business change.

MY VALUE IS IN THE CONNECTIONSBetween the commercial question, the systems underneath it, and the people who need to use them.
I've been accountable for the operation, worked with technical teams and built solutions myself. That combination influences how I approach change.
Owned product range, merchandising, pricing, promotions, budgets, suppliers, marketing, customer service and fulfilment, leading a team of 10+ people.

PYRAMID / PLATFORMS
Bringing marketplace operations together.
Selected Linnworks to connect channels, stock and dispatch.
See what I delivered

NEMESIS NOW / DATA SYSTEMS
Turning scattered information into decisions.
Built product, performance and rebate workflows in MP Desk.
See what I delivered
Translated day-to-day marketplace problems into linked workflows and reporting views, with a focus on data consistency and how people actually act on the information.

Another example: challenging an ERP replacement decision +
At Pyramid International I assessed whether targeted enhancements to the current ERP could meet the business requirements instead of funding a full replacement. The option adopted addressed the priorities at substantially lower cost. It remains a useful example of commercial judgement — but it is only one part of my experience.

Illustrative pattern from work across different systems — not a claim that every tool shares the same architecture.
Business-first integration experience: EDI/AS2, APIs, mapping and workflow change. I define requirements, troubleshoot failures and build practical tools — bringing in specialist engineering where needed.
05 / SELECTED WORK
PROBLEMS SOLVED. NOT JUST PRODUCTS BUILT.
Three very different examples of the same principle: start with the problem and the people, then create the right solution.
01FFN APPCOMMUNITY · OPERATIONS
One club. One connected system.
A single mobile app replacing separate availability, payments and spreadsheet statistics.
THE PROBLEM
Repeated admin, disconnected information and too many places to manage the same player journey.
THE RESPONSE
Design a joined-up, mobile-first experience around how players and club administrators really work.
The result is a single platform for matchday availability, balances, fitness progress, statistics and club management — evolving with feedback from the people using it.
MY CONTRIBUTION
Planned the player and admin journeys, unified fragmented processes, designed mobile interfaces and iterated the system through live usage.

Less chasing data. More useful decisions.
Joined-up product, marketplace and commercial data for better decisions.
MP Desk is designed as a connected workspace for marketplace management, product information, performance visibility and operational workflows. An example of building around the real needs of the job.

Defined the information architecture and business logic for product, performance and rebate views, alongside marketplace data flows and operational use cases.

06 / THE LAB
CURIOSITY DOESN'T CLOCK OFF.
Not everything needs to be a commercial project. Sometimes the best way to understand a challenge is to build something.
Football, games and home technology have become useful testing grounds for the same skills I use at work: questioning assumptions, working through edge cases, learning tools and turning ideas into something tangible.
EXPERIMENTS / SIDE PROJECTS / PROTOTYPES
01
SQUADLAB
GAME DATA · DECISION SUPPORT
A game companion for comparing players, wages and squad decisions.
What it shows Data modelling · Decision logic · UX
How I approached it
Built around the decisions a player actually needs to make: compare ratings, match a role, stay within wage limits and save a shortlist. The challenge is translating game data into useful filters without overwhelming the user.
02
CM 01/02 REMASTERED
DESIGN · LEGACY SOFTWARE
Updating a classic football-management interface without breaking its identity.
What it shows Design systems · Iteration · Legacy constraints
How I approached it
Focused on visual consistency and reversible changes. Refined navigation, tactical pitch markers, club imagery and player views while maintaining compatibility with the original game's structure.
03
SHIELDNET
HOME NETWORK · MONITORING
Turning an NVIDIA Shield into an always-on network monitor.
What it shows Technical curiosity · Troubleshooting · Monitoring
How I approached it
Reused an NVIDIA Shield as a monitoring device rather than buying another box. Worked through network signals, connectivity alerts, home hardware limitations and a dashboard that can be checked from elsewhere.
07 / WORK WITH ME
TWO WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER.
One way of thinking. Different contexts. I enjoy both leading change from inside a business and taking on a well-defined problem independently.
01 / FOR EMPLOYERS↗
Need ecommerce leadership that understands systems?
Ecommerce growth, trading strategy, UX and the operations behind performance — with the systems knowledge to deliver change.
I start with discovery and a clear problem statement. I can help map the current process, shape a practical solution and deliver a focused tool or improvement where it's within my experience. I work hands-on with modern tools, including AI-assisted development; I don't claim to be an all-purpose engineering agency.
01 / DIAGNOSEUntangle the workflow
Find the friction, map the process and agree what better should look like.
02 / DESIGNMake a usable plan
Translate real requirements into clear decisions, roles and screens.
03 / DELIVERTurn it into change
Build or improve the tool, involve users and refine after launch.
